Privacy Policy

LOVEUSENT LLC, doing business as Love, Grandma (“Love, Grandma,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides a service that helps grandmothers send recurring messages of love and encouragement to family members.

Information we collect

We collect the information you provide to use Love, Grandma: account email and contact details; loved-one names, nicknames and birthdays; interests, message tone, optional faith and communication preferences; life updates and important days; schedules and telephone numbers; recipient permission and opt-out records; and messages, photos and keepsake content. We also process sign-in and technical information, delivery receipts and message costs to operate and protect the service. Please share only information you have authority to provide, and avoid adding government identifiers, payment-card details or detailed medical records.

How we use information

We use information to create and manage accounts, generate and deliver requested Love Notes, obtain and document caregiver permission, record selected service preferences, maintain private keepsakes, provide support, prevent misuse, comply with law, and improve the service.

Text messaging and consent

Love Notes are sent only after the applicable recipient or authorized parent or guardian affirmatively agrees to receive them. Consent is not a condition of any purchase by the message recipient. The recipient may decline or withdraw permission at any time. Message frequency varies. Regular Love Notes may be sent up to five days per week, with occasional additional messages for special days selected by the subscriber. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop text messages or HELP for help.

Mobile information, text-message opt-in data, and consent records are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Children and teens

When a loved one is under 18, Love, Grandma requires permission from an authorized parent or guardian.

For children ages 0–12, Love Notes are delivered only to the parent or guardian to share with the child.

For teens ages 13–17, the parent or guardian may choose to receive and share the Love Notes or authorize delivery directly to the teen. Recurring Love Notes wait for the required permission and consent. A subscriber may ask us to send a permission-request text to the caregiver or adult recipient they enter; the recipient may approve or decline. Permission and service confirmations may also be sent as part of that requested process.

Service providers

We use Supabase for sign-in, account data and private photo storage; Vercel for website hosting and server requests; GitHub for source code and temporary automated backup processing; Backblaze for encrypted backup storage; and Telnyx and mobile carriers to deliver texts and process delivery and opt-out events. Text delivery shares the sender and recipient telephone numbers and message content with the messaging providers. These providers may keep operational records under their own terms and legal obligations.

When you request stock-photo choices, a search derived from the interest you enter is sent to Pexels. Displaying those photos contacts its image service. If you follow a gift-shopping link, the retailer receives the search in that link, which may include an age and gift category. These external services have their own privacy policies.

During the invited beta, payment screens are practice only. We do not collect payment-card values or send them to a payment processor. Use only the supplied fake practice details. If paid billing is introduced, we will explain payment processing before you authorize a charge.

Browser storage

Sign-in uses browser storage to keep your session available between visits. Signing out clears access to your account on the website. Someone with access to your device or to a photo link you share may be able to view information available to them.

Retention and security

Account information and keepsakes are stored to provide the service until they are removed through an applicable request or other service process. Changing a preference, expiring a permission link or replying STOP does not automatically erase past records. Permission, opt-out, delivery and other limited records may need to be kept to prevent unwanted messages, address disputes or comply with law. We use safeguards including account access controls and private photo storage, but no internet or electronic-storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may update account information, withdraw messaging permission, or request access to or deletion of applicable personal information by contacting us below. Requests are handled by an operator after verifying your identity and authority. Account records and private photo files require separate removal steps. We will explain applicable limits, including records that must be retained. Copies in backups or provider logs may remain for their applicable retention periods. Replying STOP ends text messages to that number; it does not itself delete an account or keepsake.
